I do get a longer lunch to come home and let dogs out and check on chickens, but I got to make up those long lunches, which is not easy.

Coldest place I've ever been in my life was Illinois. In March! (I'm originally from California)

My hat is off to all of you who manage to live and function in actual winter climates. It's dipping into the 20's here next week, and I'm stocking up on peppermint schnapps and hot chocolate -- not planning on leaving the house til it's just our usual Oregon rain again.

OMG!!! I've got the long underwear, cashmere and wool accessories, down coat, snow boots on! Even the dogs are wearing fleece coats outside then.
