Wide stance/enlarged hips

Even using the Brewers yeast or nutritional yeast happens more than you know some may just can’t assimilate the Niacin as well as others. We’ve see Such good recoveries with using the b complex. Mine says fortified tooView attachment 3441432
That’s awesome-thank you! There was slim pickings so I did want to be sure. Will be giving them a dose tonight! Hope to maybe see some improvement in the near future. I’m sure this will be a slow process in healing.

I’m working on making a link. May be tomorrow before I can post.
-My son bought them from the local big name feed store where he worked.
-Unfortunately the way they are displayed they are mixed with other goslings so I don’t know what breed they are.
-I’m estimating they are about 6-7 weeks old.
-The problems really became noticeable to me about 3 weeks ago which I’ve been struggling with finding answers by researching, reading articles and asking and posting pics and questions on BYC.
I thought strongly at first that it was a niacin deficiency but have been on top of it by giving him liquid vit b12 and giving them nutritional yeast at every feeding. I tried to get the durvet b complex but it was unavailable so that’s when I got the liquid b12 instead. Didn’t want to waste any time trying to help him. I’m thinking of ordering it now that we are discussing this.
-I have posted pictures of him but will do again. I will need to do tomorrow while we are outside, I couldn’t get a good view of his stance. He has also feathered out since.
Hi everyone-here’s the video I’m trying to show his hips and trouble walking.

Sure looks like it could be a niacin deficiency. I would rewrap that wing so it lays in a normal position against his body. Shouldn't take longer than a week to correct it.

Very pretty flock ❤️

This video was taken a few days ago. His wings look a whole lot better now thanks to the wrapping.😊
Thank you for the compliment. Everyone is white! Lol

How’s your gosling doing @Ourgosling22
Hi Miss Lydia-still playing nurse with them lol. They seem to be doing ok. Their behavior is still chippy and they eat and drink well. They still have a few days left on the antibiotic. Boy I’m having a time getting that in them. I’ve done the syringe in mouth and after a couple of days I just felt like I was freaking them out too much. I tried a bread crumb soaked with their med. That was a bust. Just wasn’t interested in it. Then last night I put about a tablespoon of crumbles with a smidgen of the nutritional yeast flakes( so it would be what was familiar) and I put the med mixed in. Took a bit of time but that seemed to work! I’m also putting vitamin b complex in their water to boost up the niacin deficiency which I’m suspecting may be the problem with his hips and wide stance. Goosebaby suggested trying the rooster booster poultry cell for a bit so I’m going to be picking that up. Their poop seems to be getting better. I’m still watching it. I’ve got the fendbendazole but have got to figure out how much to give them. So far it looks positive and they look good to me😊 I apologize for the looong response. Just trying to be specific as possible so that I make sense.

Just happy to hear good news. How old are they just wondering why you’d be worming? Keep up the liquid B Complex it really works so much better than other things we’ve tried when they have a full blown niacin deficiency. Thanks for updating♥️

I’m guessing they are about 7-8 weeks old now. Worming them due to issues we were having with their poop. Thought we’d be proactive in case there was parasites or worms. I think Gelato may always have that issue with his bones/hip and trouble walking. But I’m hoping by giving him the vit b complex or rooster booster will at least help and make him a little stronger.
