Wide stance/enlarged hips

For the durvet vitamin b complex-The bottle will say injectable sterile solution on it? This is the right one? I understand we give it orally. I’m sorry- Just want to make sure it’s same stuff.

Vitamin B12 will not treat Niacin deficiency You need B complex TSC carries Durvet Liquid B complex and it would be a good idea to start your gosling on this 1 ml daily over a yummy treat just a small amount of treat so you see he is getting full dose. Nutritional yeast is good for supplementing niacin but even when we give it seems we can still have one that comes up with Niacin def. I may be wrong but since we're not vets we have to eliminate and niacin def is always at the top of the list.

The liquid B complex will say injectable but we use it orally.
Hello, I purchased 2 pekin ducks I believe about 2 weeks old. I mistakenly was not giving them duck feed but chicken feed nit realizing the niacin concern. Well yesterday I noticed they are both limping with somewhat turned in foot and maybe little swollen hock/joint. They seem to only walk a few steps and plop back down. Now with knowing what I know now, i purchased duck feed and a the durvet b complex. Can you assist in how I can administer it to them, how much? should it be diluted or added to their water? How many times a day should give this to them,
Any assistance would be great I feel so terrible

I’m sure someone better will answer you’re questions but in the meantime look over Miss Lydia’s recent post to me. It explains perfectly how you can administer and get the vit b complex in their system quickly. I would also get flockraiser crumbles and some nutritional yeast. Don’t feel bad. Things happen and sometimes when we try too hard we slip. Happens to me. Important thing is to get that vit b complex in them.

Get them on the liquid BComplex Pekins are one of the large breed ducks maybe because they grow so fast that end up with a niacin deficieny. They still have a good chance at full recovery just get them in it asap.
is the Aspen vita jec b fortified the same as the durvet vit b complex?
It looks like it’s just as good and it is on the list of those to look for.

This one had Fortified in the name so I wasn’t sure.
Wanted to add that it’s looking more like his hip issue/walking is a niacin deficiency. Someone posted earlier describing similar symptoms. It was easier to tell with that one because she described what went wrong. I have 2 goslings raising together in same brooder, feed dish etc.One seems fine and the other one has the problems.

Mine are geese but don’t know what breed they are yet.

Even using the Brewers yeast or nutritional yeast happens more than you know some may just can’t assimilate the Niacin as well as others. We’ve see Such good recoveries with using the b complex. Mine says fortified too
