Wild duck pair Id.

I saw these two at a hospital pond. Definitely one drake and one duck. What breed are they? They where much smaller than the muscovies. Deep quack from the drake.

Them swimming with muscovies. Quite the size difference even with the younger muscovies.

I may be wrong, but they look like mallards. The male appears to be in eclipse plumage at the moment.
