Wild duck

The last few weeks a wild duck has been coming around swimming in the pond with my domestic ducks. This morning she was waiting for me to let them out of their pen so she could hang out with them. Anyone ever have this happen before? Maybe her mate was killed and she's lonely? My ducks don't seem to mind. My drake tried to mount her but she shot him down.
