We just found 6+ ducklings in our pasture and the mom is nowhere to be found. There are more we can't get to in the blackberry bushes. I put them in a tote so I can look out for them. Put a shallow dish of water, pine shavings, and chick feed. Waiting to hear back from Department of Fish and Wildlife. Anything else I should do in the meantime? I've never had ducks, only chicks. They keep sitting in the water, is that ok? It's really shallow and it's a warm day (80°+).

Don't let them actually swim in water unattended; they'll drown ironically. If they're huddled together then they may be cold and a heat lamp is advisable. But for 80degrees they'll be fine together.
