Thanks Linda, i was going to look into ordering some and was just wondering if that was exactly what it is called or if it had another name. It doesn't say on the side of the container what is is.

Just a word of caution, what you are doing is highly illegal. Wild Geese are federally protected under the migratory bird treaty act. I'd be very careful about letting anyone know what you have. If you are found out, there's a hefty fine and they'll come in and destroy the bird.

The Wildlife & Game Warden is the one who gave me the BFI, He said just keep it Safe and when it is mostly Healed you can release it. It kind of confused me, Because i new it was illegal But he was fine with it.

That's awesome. I wish our wildlife officers were so understanding. We have a pretty good population of wild mute swans here. The problem is that they are invasive (I am not completely ignorant to the problems with invasives). They are constantly turning up with fishing line/hooks wrapped round their bills/feet/necks. I've been told on more than one occasion that we cannot touch them and that they cannot offer any help. They actually told me that if they came out that they'd have to cull them all per state mandate.

That is sad.
