Hmmm! That looks remarkably identical to the wild bird food that I put out for the little guys, of which my chickens eat 98% of before the quail and chickadee's can even get a bite of it!

I think I'm going to have to concentrate on building a few more bird feeders and fewer bird houses to accommodate everyone!

My chickens just love this stuff any time I toss a scoop or two out on the ground. So much so that they will actually squabble over an area that is particularly heavy with it.

I do so hate squabbles over food! Especially when there's more than enough to go around.

I wanted to share this with you all...just to give a size perspective...this is Thor with some of the big girls

Cyn in this one you might be able to see that feather I was talking about...hard to get a good pic of it because of where it is and how light the markings are

My boy was so happy to see me when I got home, he was the first one to greet me.

Hey Cyn! Try some red plums on her next. I just discovered last night how much my little hooligans love them. We had one in the fridge that got damaged just bringing it home from the commissary (you know how brutal some of those baggers can be!

and Annie didn't want to eat a squished one. So I took it out to the coop at bed time. OMGosh! You would have thought that I was offering them the food of the gods!

So, if Ivy is still enjoying the pleasure of a nice cool grape, maybe try some chilled red plums! I bet she'll get just as excited by those as she does the plums!

Cetawin! OMGosh! Thor really is getting HUGE!!! I've seen the pictures of you holding him, and yeah, one can get an idea somewhat of how he has grown, but nothing like those last pictures!

Holy Molly!! How big do you suppose he'll end up being in another year or so, when he finally has his full and entire growth!?!?

Serrin I have no clue when he will stop growing or how big he will eventually be but I swear he grows each day. In the morning when he runs to greet me I think "Dang, Thor you look bigger today". hahaha

I do love my boy with all my heart.
