Yes, she definitely has!Yay for Tiger! Congratz on first egg, has she proven herself to your family yet?
Good for you! This is a pretty long thread. It's a wonderful story though.Just read though the ENTIRE thing! Congratulations on catching Starburst and Tiger, I love the names. It's good that you adopted those chooks, they probably wouldn't have made it without you.
She's gorgeous. Is that Starburst behind her? What breed is that black and white mottled chicken? It's stunning.View attachment 2289058
Here is another picture of Tiger! She is panting because it was nearly 100 degrees when I took the photo. She still hasn't missed a single day... every day she has layed an egg! The day before yesterday (I think) was the first day she did it in the nesting boxes. Yesterday she lay it at around 5:00 pm, so I'm hoping to get one today, too.
I must have missed that you got them in with your other birds?View attachment 2289058

Oh ok! Confetti is so pretty. Your GLWs are too.Yes, that's Starburst behind her!
Starburst isn't as tame as Tiger though, so it's hard to get a good picture of her.
The "black and white" chicken is our speckled sussex, Confetti. She is a dark color but not black, that's just the terrible quality of the phone camra!

There, you can see her colors better in this picture.
And yes, I did introduce them to our other flock, I think I mentioned it somewhere...
...haha, at least I think she's a speckled sussex, she was sold as one... but so were our two welsummers!Yes, that's Starburst behind her!
