An example of a before and after edit. Different photos, but the same idea. Those spots are really, really bugging me. There's a nice camera store in Seattle that cleans sensors, so when I go see family over there, I'm going to get it cleaned. It's long past time.

Mine wasn't quite as bad when I bought it but it had a lot of spots. I just followed a step-by-step written tutorial and found it quite easy to clean. Did it twice in one week and all the spots were gone, just need to take it slow and be careful 😊

Hopefully they can get it cleaned up for you. That's a lot to clone out on every image, but at least they do clean up nicely. What camera is it?
A Sony a350. It’s pretty old and slow, but it can still take great photos if you use it right.

Personally, I’d prefer to have it done by professionals, because they’re less likely to mess it up. Of course it costs money, but I’m getting to the point where I don’t care, I just want it done 😅

Fair enough, each to their own.

Nah I'm kidding, last few weeks I've moved over to lightroom. Luminar Neo stopped working for me completely and support couldn't resolve the issue. Gave them a month to try and help me fix it and nothing came of it so moved over.

I think I preferred luminar's denoise AI but the AI masking in lightroom is amazingly helpful.

That's actually disappointing. They've been trying to get me to move from luminar4 to neo and I've been considering it, but maybe I will just stick with the old stuff. I only really use it for landscape and astro stuff anyway and version 4 works a treat.
