I love your pictures! I like how that mourning dove looks like it's acting innocent despite the fact that it just relieved itself on the railing  !
Sadly the house finches around my house refuse to let me get close enough for a photo, but your pic turned out beautiful with the red/green contrast. I also have a growing obsession with pigeons. People are like "Hey! Look at that store!" And I'm like, "No! Look at the PIGEONS on the store!"
Also, what type of gull is that? The only ones we have around here are the ring-billed.
Lastly, this is my best quail picture, I got it a couple days ago. Your's is very nice; I can tell that it's a quail... unlike in this:

Yeah, my mom wasn't too happy with the dove! I took the picture of the finch through the kitchen window, with my dad's telephoto lens. They're pretty flighty around here too! I don't know what type of gull that is. I took it off the coast of WA, but I'm not very familiar with seabirds.
We feed the quail scratch every morning, so they come close to our house, and they're not too afraid of people. I haven't gotten any good pictures of the baby quail, but maybe this year! Here's an old one:
