Loving the improved range on this lens, really love some pictures but not so amazed about others. I think it's all down to me and the autofocus, think I need to use a little manual focus here and there, and get used to the weight difference.

The daylight hours have gone from 7:30am-6:00pm down to 7:00am-4:30pm thanks to the clocks changing so really not much chances for me to take any photos now. Can't go out from 6am-5pm weekdays due to work and weekends will mean have to go out in the mornings due to son's current routine. Bring back summer!

Unfortunately, the sunrise is so late now I miss it on the way home from work. Sure was nice catching it so often. Need to try and get some pics in the afternoon, I've been slacking.

Here's a "small in frame" image from this summer that I don't think I've posted. I really like this style, but I don't do it very often for whatever reason...

Stopped yesterday afternoon on the way to work and grabbed a couple pics. I got the closest I've ever been to a cormorant, in my quest to get a close up of their eye. Unfortunately, I left the teleconverter in the pelican case from the last time I went on the boat. I didn't think to swap to the R7 either, which would have got me around twice the reach. Guess I'm a little rusty, lol. Here is a real heavy, 6mp crop.
