Dragonfly emerging. From my cell phone, so image quality isn't stellar.

These, however, are with the Nikon. shooting 300 mm tele as a fake macro is... Odd.

4.Some closeups of the dragonfly. I cropped down tight on it so you can see some of the luminance and transparency in it's skin as it dries after emerging.

This photo isn't great, but this little kingbird was so mad at me! I swear she's glaring.

Speaking of angry birds...This little Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher and his mate were building a nest when I saw them. Look at those furrowed eyebrows!
