Will eggs hatch after being in the fridge?

How many weeks u kept?

the frige eggs are not working but I think I have 3 that came strat from a hen that are

I have a broody hen...it is still a bit chilly here in Ohio, BUT...I figure--what the heck!! Spring is right around the corner. I took 5 eggs from my fridge that I had put there this morning...and placed them under her. I only felt one egg under her, so--now there are 6....we shall see what happens. Life is fun.

How did it turn out?? I just had an incubator problem that fried 53 quail eggs. I’ve got a couple dozen I put in the fridge thinking they would get eaten instead of incubated. Gonna go for it

Hi,, they will and do, i wouldnt recommend setting them after 6 days of it,

We hatched them as a test already at 4-5 days of it and had good results, we didnt try any over 5 days. this was about 3 years ago when we tried and we where amazed at the hatch rate from them 75% hatch rate on 100% fetility.

Not bad for frigde eggs. remember this was a test and i dont ever recommend storing eggs in the fridge that you plan to hatch....But when in a pinch and you got eggs in there go for it..
