WIll My chicks be ok for 24 HRS by them selves?

Hi, I am getting 30 Chicks ( was 25 we added 5 more ) The day they are coming I am going away for a nigh so they would be by themselves for about 24 HRS, Will they be ok if I fed and watered them and made sure the temp was steady?

I may be able to have my sister either stop or stay over or I may be able to send them home with one of the guys I am spliting them with. If they stay there will be only 5 or 6 of them the others are being split between 2 people. Thanks alot.

As long as you aren't expecting any storms that would knock out your power, I say go for it. As long as they have heat, food and water, they don't need you I think its a good idea to have someone stop in and check on them though. Good luck!

i would spend a few hours though after the set up making sure that it isnt to hot or to cold. if they are crowding anywhere in the brooder it could be a problem.
other than that, they should be perfectly fine =)

I am set it up today and Ill see how the temp stays, I figured they would be fine Figured I d ask.
