Will my duck eggs be okay if I miss 3 days of cooling and misting ?

I have duck eggs in my incubator on day 10 and I just started cooling and misting tonight! I unexpectedly have to leave town for 3 days on Friday. I have someone that’s going to come check my humidity for me everyday but is unable to stay long enough to cool and mist my eggs. Will my eggs be okay skipping that step for 3 days?

I’ve only incubated chicken eggs, but have never done that before.

Never mind, I looked it up (it simulates a mother duck that’s wet correct?)

From my quick search, I think it’ll be fine, but I’m not completely sure.

It mimics the mother duck leaving her nest each day to eat and swim!

I don’t think a few days will hurt
When the person checks humidity maybe they could open the lid for a few mins to cool things down ?

I have hatched every spring for a few years now. I started out using the recommended humidity and misting techniques that you see online with okay results. Now I dry hatch, don't bother cooling and misting. My hatch rates went up considerably.

I’m with HollowOfWisps, I stopped it too and only dry hatch. I have had 100% hatches the last three times that way.
