Will my netting make it through the winter here???

We had a small amount of snow and ice on Thanksgiving here in Michigan. The bird netting I have draped over my entire chicken run was pretty caked with ice and was really heavy. I was imagining a big Michigan snow and wondering how my netting is going to stay up through the winter. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to help the netting hold up to ice and snow?????

you need to give us an idea of how wide a span you are dealing with. what size is your area that needs to be supported?

Generally speaking, you go out with a broom and shake the netting to knock the snow and ice off it.
