I ended up with 11 out of 16. The last one had pipped, but there was blood and it just didn't make it. The others are great!

I like your brooder, that is pretty cool to be able to have the two sizes right there together. Especially if they will one day all live together in the coop.

Thanks! I'll be removing the wire at some point next week or a little later, once the little peeps grow a bit. I think by a week and a half, they should all integrate well. The little ones already go up to the wire and watch the big ones, lol. It's so cute. The brooder is 6x3 so my 17 should do well in there until they move out to the coop. I'm real happy with the hatch and number I ended up with.
