Here is a picture, it's a 10ft by 5ft by 6ft tall. Again is that enough room for 6 chickens? They will also have a coop. I just want something that has a top on it for their run so nothing can get them.

I would worry about the large size of the wire. A large rat could get through it.There is no floor. It does look nice though. I keep my runs 3 to 4 ft high to conserve materials.

I agree with the others, from what I have read you guys over there need to be mindful of predators coming from under as well as over, also I would be reluctant to put 6 full sized chickens in there especially if they aren't going to get to free range during the day.

That should be fine for a run, as long as you have a very secure coop to place them in each night. Will your coop be located within this run, or outside of it?

For most daytime possible predators like hawks etc this should work. For nightime it wouldn't. Like others have said you need a secure bottom to keep out racoons, and the holes are too large to keep out rats and racoon hands.

At first their temp. coop will be inside but I plan to build a coop added on to the other end (away from the gate) cause I figure I can take that panel off and attach everything to a coop.
I like the height because My dogs would be way to tempted to jump on top of something only 4ft tall. Last thing i need is for my dogs to start thinking the chicken run is their own personal bed. I have chicken wire to add around the bottom after I get this. I also plan to add on to it next year.

Looks great and it wouldnt be hard to add to it later on for an even bigger run.

Just visited Lowe's site for this product. Pricey isnt it? :)
For where I live that isn't pricey. It's actually cheaper then the other kennels same size with a cover on it. and I'm in a rental so everything I get or make has to be something I can take apart to go with me when I move.
