I would get 3cc syringes and 22 gauge 1 inch needles or 25 gauge 5/8 inch needles or a couple of each. I would give 1/2 ml/cc of Tylan 50 for 3-5 daysi asked and they have it at cvs, so can i use the ones for humans or do the syringes have to be special for chickens.
im not sure what to do about ammonia but for mine dylan worked pretty good but even now sometimes her eyes get a little bubbly and watery but she's very well very energetic eating well and laying huge eggs, good luck with yours hope she gets betterHave a 2 year old 4 lb Araucana and she has frothy white bubbles in both eyes. I have 26 chickens and so far she is the only one with this. I have had High levels of ammonia as the days are now getting warmer. And wondering if I should use tylan as a precaution. She is now in the house isolated from the other chickens. Would also want to know how other chicken caregivers in MI are able to keep ammonia levels down. We are ventilated well but the litter in the coop has to come out but the weather is still to cold to do a total clean out.
