Will YOU be shopping on Thanksgiving Day?

No, I will not be shopping on Thanksgiving day or even Black Friday. I'm making 90% of the gifts I'm giving and have already bought the other 10% - clothes at a consignment shop and goodies from a church fair.

Definitely going shopping with the MIL.
We have been doing more online shopping for gifts the past few years,it is much easier and no crowds to fight with.

NO, I will not be shopping on Thanksgiving, nor on Black Friday. Do any of you live in a town where they closed all the shops on Wednesday as well as Sunday???? USED to, back in the day, in my lil home town in AL. Not anymore, tho.

I love going out on black friday. I don't really buy anything, but sometimes there are sales I just can't resist. Although, I don't get up at 4 in the morning just to get a sale!

I think it's awful that they are open on Thanksgiving. I won't be shopping. We don't really "do" Christmas presents anyway. We focus on family.

As for what people get..

Early in the morning, the families/ mothers are there freaking out over last-minute things they need to get to complete the meal. After about, say 1:00PM, it calms down a little, BUT they are sending other members of the family in for the last-minute things.

Around 3PM is when you get the "shoppers" who have eaten and are trying to get away from the rest of the family.
