so, i've been super bored, and that is why i've been posting so many questions, so sorry, i'm twiddling my thumbs at home, watching my quail, asking questions to help care for them, and thanks to all of you who answer me!!
with that said, i didnt want to start another thread because i have been posting so much, so i will just ask my, yet another, question here.
so i have been having a problem with having to many roosters, and one seems to really like Potatoe, a super skittish quail. she has a bald head and it was bloody, but now i have been cracking down, and keeping an eye on the over aggressive rooster who bothers her, shooing him away if he is being mean. she is doing better, but once i start going to school again (thanks covid

) i wont be able to keep such a close eye on them anymore, so i have been looking for answers, that dont involve me getting rid of my quail. my aunt sometimes uses a salve on her chickens that heals them and tastes bad to the other chickens. do you think this could work on my quail?

the only problem is (i have been putting it off, because i need my dads help) i haven't clipped Potatoes wings yet, and it sounds like you have to put it on pretty often. almost
EVERY TIME i try to get potatoe out, she escapes. once i clip her wings though, it wont be to much of a hassle.
What do you guys think?
EDIT=Right now, my quail are highly stressed. i don't want to mess with them to much. the females are scared by the roosters and flushing (mostly potaotoe, i will try to clip her wings today.) and the rooster that was picking on potatoe is now being picked on by the other rooster, or at least is highly afraid of him. i want to clip potatoes wings, and put the salve on her head, as its bleeding again because of her flushing a bunch. there are things i need to do with the quail, but they are so stressed i don't know what to do.. please, i am in need of some advice.
