Wing Drop Head Down

The vitamin E is for torticolis, also known as wry neck. It doesn't always show up as the more typical "star gazing", but sometimes the head points down, sometimes the chicken walks backwards, other times in circles. It may be a vitamin E deficiency or from a little knock on the head at some point. Try the E. It can often work very fast to improve things.

You can push the whole capsule into the beak or squirt the oil over the minced boiled egg.

Thank you

If she is able to flap her wings, it's not an injury. In such a young chick, these mobility issues are more often from vitamin deficiencies. Continue the B-complex for a few more weeks, and add daily vitamin E to this therapy. Give with a bare sliver of selenium or with egg to help absorption.

You need to be patient.
I wanted to follow up with you. I finally found a vet that would see chickens. Her appointment was yesterday. She had the usual exam, and she had an xray. My sweet Grace lived through a C1 fracture and fissure.
