Red cocked her head back into its normal position. She gathered the root and wrapped it several times around a nearby log, before heading outside to harvest vines. "Want to help? I can't carry that many at once."

Tan hopped up and tried to pull one down, but accidentally pulled a whole net of vines on top of the both of them.

Tan sliced an opening in the vines and let Red come out.

She stepped gingerly over several tangled knots in the vines, as the air hissed around them. Red assumed it was only crickets buzzing in the distance, before she noticed a fine mist descending upon the top of the mountain. Soon, Tan was only a blurry form barely distinguishable through the fog.
