I guess I was a bit excited.

We could always do the same thing, just at a slower rate so we can all react quicker and leave...

Tan ran off, pouch in wing, toward the mountains, hoping to find a suitable place up high and out of the wind.

Trees fell and trapped chickens nearby, one missing Tan by only inches. A loud rumble of water could be heard far off in the distance. Cries of clan members and other animals in despair filled the destructed wasteland.
