There was an eerie silence. The sounds of the cave dominated as slime dripped and slid along the walls. Puddles sloshed as new droplets were embraced. Finally, the voice returned, this time malicious, menacing. "You lie," it whispered. There was a slight creak as the stone shifted back into place above. A chicken had been peering out at them from an upper level, but now even that entrance was blocked.

Suddenly there was a great, cold hiss from the darkness as two amber yellow eyes, slitted and the size of Scarlet's head, stared at her hungrily.

The diamond pattern on its body twisted and undulated as its body slithered across the slime-encrusted floor. Two sharp fangs protruded from its upper jaw as it neared, and a tongue flickered out, mere feet from Scarlet, tasting the air. It hissed in satisfaction, and continued closer.

she throws a vile she had readly, gren mist comes out, she cover her beak, it was death poison, all of it goes into the snake since it was the nearest breathing thing, scarlet flies over the dying thing to get closer to bloodwing

The snake heaved, not dead on contact. It writhed into a hissing ball of pain. It thrashed, sending stones flying in all directions, hitting some of the moles as it commenced its death throws. As a last action, it flipped its head upwards as Scarlet flew over, and dug its teeth into Scarlet's leg before collapsing back onto the floor, eyes rolled into the back of its head.
