WingClan, a Chicken clan ЯР--> 'Fly with the breeze'

"fine" she flies ahead of her

Once the two chicks reached the top of the branch, so that it slanted almost straight up, Yewchick beckoned with her wing and plummeted to the rim of a hole in the pine. "Here we are!" she said proudly, eyes half-closed with pride as she indicated a large water basin carved out of the pin itself, smoothed into a bowl-like shape, protected by the upper trunk of the pine. A good few wing-breadths of water glimmered in the basin, clearly captured from the recent rain.

"cool" Falconchick starts to wash herself

" . . . he'd choose his clan," Aspspur finished softly. He paced around Deathstorm, talons clacking against the solid oak branches. His glittering orange-yellow eyes never left Deathstorm's face. "And leave you to die," he smiled grimly. "Most distressing--a son betraying his own father."

He narrowed his eyes. "Then why send him on a mission,if you knew he'd choose Wingclan over The Shadows?"

"To teach him that working with the shadows requires . . ." he trailed off, a dark smile caressing his features. "Sacrifice." He began to pace again, staring off into the abyss of the canopy, as if Deathstorm wasn't even there. "If he chooses you," he whispered. "Then all will be well. I'll have gained a valuable ally even if he is rather . . . naive," he turned to face Deathstorm, gaze calculating. "But if he chooses his clan . . . " he smiled. "We can make that work to our advantage. For us, it's a win-win situation."

" Uh-huh..." she said, then pinned him against a tree " Liar" she hissed " I saw you walk away with your father and that nasty rooster watching"

"Ain't it?" Yewchick chirped, rubbing her beak against the bark lazily, so that it only shone in patches. She frowned at her own reflection, poking her crown with her wing to try and make it stay up straight, only to have the tips flop to the side again. Her eyes narrowed in concentration.

"Yew!"

With a scream and a splash, Yewchick tipped forwards into the water head-first. She rose to the surface with a mighty sputter, eyes wide as she struggled to stay afloat.

Badgerchick appeared beside Falconchick, looking at little sheepish. "Sorry, sis," he said, giving an apologetic glance at Falconchick. "Um, at least you're clean now!"

A steam-hot glare was all he got in return.

"Ah,I see." Deathstorm replied, staring intently at Aspspur.

There was a scream as Yewchick frantically doggy-paddled away from the giant wall of water from Falconchick's splash. She didn't quite make it, and turned to glare at Yewchick, soaked through the feathers and brow so low that it nearly covered her eyes. "Ooo, I am so going to get you back for that!" she yelled, using her tail as a paddle to send a giant splash of water over Falconchick's head.

Falconchick flies out before Yewchick did a thing, she stick her tongue out
