WingClan, a Chicken clan ЯР--> 'Fly with the breeze'

"To teach him that working with the shadows requires . . ." he trailed off, a dark smile caressing his features. "Sacrifice." He began to pace again, staring off into the abyss of the canopy, as if Deathstorm wasn't even there. "If he chooses you," he whispered. "Then all will be well. I'll have gained a valuable ally even if he is rather . . . naive," he turned to face Deathstorm, gaze calculating. "But if he chooses his clan . . . " he smiled. "We can make that work to our advantage. For us, it's a win-win situation."

"Ah,I see." Deathstorm replied, staring intently at Aspspur.

"I'm sure you do, but I am curious," he raised a questioning brow. "Where do your loyalties lie, Deathstorm? You've been a faithful servant through all these months--but if given Nightwhisper's choice, what would you choose?"

There was a scream as Yewchick frantically doggy-paddled away from the giant wall of water from Falconchick's splash. She didn't quite make it, and turned to glare at Yewchick, soaked through the feathers and brow so low that it nearly covered her eyes. "Ooo, I am so going to get you back for that!" she yelled, using her tail as a paddle to send a giant splash of water over Falconchick's head.

"I would choose to complete my mission for The Shadows,of course," He replied, dipping his head slightly. "I wouldn't let family,or former loyalty's get in my way."

Immediately Yewchick began yelling out angry insults, wings too wet to flap out of the basin and completely overtaken by annoyance. With every harsh word, Badgerchick winced, and glanced sideways at Falconchick, beak opened in shock. "Yew!" he said urgently, eyes shifting about. "Don't let momma hear you, she'll--she'll--"

"What?" Yewchick growled, splashing water angrily in his direction. "Wash my beak out? If you haven't noticed, it's all ready been pretty well drenched!"

"Please, Yew!" he said pleadingly. "Keep your voice down! Someone'll hear us!"

"Then get me out of here!"

"You've never given me reason to doubt you, Deathstorm," Aspspur stood eye-to-eye with the rooster, gaze darkened by his own thoughts. "And now is the time to prove your loyalties once again," his beak twisted into a grim smile. "You know what I'm going to ask you to do," his voice was as quiet as the whispering wind, a menacing hiss. "If Nightwhisper fails--" the sun fell behind an outcrop of clouds, darkening the shadows playing about Aspspur's features. "Kill him."
