On a border patrol, Silvermist cocked her head, a humming noise meeting her ears. Her neck feathers rose, and she stared into the forest, yellow eyes wary.

She sprinted through the foliage, determined to get back before the mysterious hen tried to cross the border.

"Scarlet?" she poked her head into the medicine den, glancing about for the hen. "There's someone at the border who want's to talk to you."

"Talk to her?" Bloodwing got to his feet, barring the way stubbornly. "She's been ill, my dear warrior. Can't this wait?"
