Wings hanging low...

I don't know a thing about Calls other than they are sure pretty, but to be an adult and doing this could she have injured it somehow?
I suppose she could have hurt it...I don't know. She`s in a large dog cage with her mate. Its just the 2 of them, so I don't know what she could have done to hurt it(maybe the drake was too rough?). They have a large bowl to swim in (probably 18in across. they're getting a pool soon) and some rocks that lead up to it (pix included). Its right up against the cage...maybe she flapped her wings too close to the cage and got hurt on it? The rocks seem a little tough on them, but I don't think tripping would hurt her wing... I`ll catch her in a bit and see if I can find anything wrong. What do I do if it is hurt?

Also, she just started laying about a week ago if that makes any difference.

Sometimes taping to the body with vet wrap in normal position and time will heal. first check her out and make sure there isn't anything broken or a wound. Maybe get some good poultry vitamins and start giving them some in their water just for support. Is she getting adequate calcium?

Humm, not sure on the calcium. I`m not giving her anything special. Just flock raiser and corn. Would oyster shells or layer crumbles be OK? Also, where would I get the poultry vitamins?

Ok, I checked on her and I couldn't find anything wrong. I felt all along the bone in her wing and looked her over the best I could. Nothing. Any suggestions? I let one of my bantam "call" ducks in the cage with them when I was down there in case maybe the male is being too rough, but the female kept chasing her away. Should I leave the other hen in or take her back out?

I'd take her out the pair will most likely not accept her and could beat her up. Have you seen the drake being rough? I know they can be mine can get a bit rough on the girls,. if he is being over jealous in his mating you might want to give him a bit of time out and give her a chance to heal. other than that hopefully it will just heal on it's own. could have sprained it on the fencing like you said but that should heal in time, if you don't notice any change in a few days then maybe try vet wrap to keep the wing in right position.

Ok, I`ll get her out of there. Thanks. As for the drake, I think hes pretty gentle with her.
What should I give her for extra calcium? Oyster shells? Layer crumbles? Also, where do I get vitamins for them?

I bought Nutri Drench at TSC and they also have another brand but can't remember the name right off, Oyster shell is good to give them since too much calcium isn't good for drakes and layer has extra calcium. I also buy Kale and feed it to my ducks/geese for extra calcium.

I had a duck at the lake doing that. It turns out that she was starving to death and had no muscle left. Obviously, you would know if your duck was starving, but she may be having muscle weakness or a strain. I've seen other ducks that have gotten injured that hang a wing or two low as well, but they got better as did the starving duck after she got some good nutrition.

You may be right about the muscle weakness. I just read somewhere that a lack of calcium can cause that, so hopefully that's what the problem is and the oyster shell will fix it.

My girl's wings aren't hanging anymore. I'm not sure if the food had anything to do with it but I did start giving them layer feed a few weeks ago.
