Submission #2
Name: Turbo
Age: 7 months old
Breed: Pekin
Gender: Female
What makes her special to me: I bought her at TSC when my 2 special order females came in the mail and sadly one passed away in transit leaving me a lone duckling. I picked the tiniest, quitest one in the large ben. Of course impulse took over and I grabbed one extra one. She was one of three that I absolutely fell in love with! Unfortunately her siblings turned out to be males (even though one was ordered as a female) and I had to rehome her brothers.Turbo is very cautious and is always standing guard. She is the youngest but the alpha female of my small flock, she tiny but mighty!

Bert is a 7 week old Pekin drake and hes been very sick and lost two wives in the last month. Hes been suffering from foamy eyes, runny noses, and could hardly move. With everyones help here on byc we were able to help him to a new point in life where he is enjoying life again! He has a new kahki cambell girlfriend and everything.

And he loves mud! He was un able to preen so getting baths and being blow dried werent his favorite thing. Hes my buddy and i love him . He hates having his picture taken tho

Submission 2

Name: Riker
Breed: Welsh Harlequin
Age: 10 weeks
Gender: Male

What makes him special to me: Riker was out of my first hatching eggs. He spent 7 weeks being treated for Wry neck but that whole time he was a happy and exploring duckling often exploring my living room with his buddy Solo.

He loved water but was afraid of it for the longest time. But he worked through his fear and now loves his pool and going big hunting in the grass. He is a hopeless pea addict and will come to get peas anytime he sees them being handed out. He is also sweet to all others members of his flock making sure to share space or food with them.

I see they are swimming in the pool...do you put chlorine or salt in the pool cuz it is both bad for ducks. I love your pics and the ducks are so cute!!!:love

I love seeing female pekins...mine is a male and it is so fun to see a female!!!!! Cute duck!:love

Awe, I'm sorry. I fear that too with my laptop. I need to get a back up for it.
I know: Everyone hates big G, the data-kraken!
But their Photo App saved a lot of my valuable pictures when the SD card in my phone died this year. Install, configure and your pics and vids will be backed up automagically...
Still don't like kraken.

It was a chlorine pool, it was very hard to keep them out of it even when they had they're own fresh water pool that was cleaned regularly. Although the pool has now been taken down, so no worries.

Am I allowed to enter another photo??

This is Barnum, our best exhibition call duck drake. This photo was taken at Fillongley Show. He is 3 years old (call ducks get better with age) and is probably the best duck we have ever had.

Whenever we go to feed our Exhibition Calls, we open the gate and pretty soon four quacking call ducks and their ducklings come and greet us! Barnum lets us feed him from our hands (they are on grass and we feed them Exhibition Breeder Pellets and peas).

Barnum also lets us pick him up without using our Poultry Net and he likes nothing more than being handled every day.

What does everyone think?
