:love I have been reading in Story Guide to Raising Duck about calls......:love:love:love

Do you keep calls? There is a misconception that calls get wet feather if they aren't kept in raised pens but wet feather is actually caused by mud. We give our calls half an acre (when they have ducklings there are 30 of them, 4 breeding stock) and they love the grass.

My calls are not in wire cages, but I don’t breed them for show.
This is their day time pen when I’m not home. But they love being out in the grass when the hawks are less prevalent.
