Winter and Summer Watering system w/ waterer nipples and heater.

i have a waterfall pump in a small pond in southern IN. and it will freeze with just circulated water when it gets cold. i lost a 2 hundred pump that way last yr.

THe waterer seems to be working great, I think most of the girls are taking to water nipples. I did put the traditional waterer back in because of the 1 silkie. I am starting to believe she is just very broody now. I took her out of the nest the other day and set her outside in the run with a bowl of water and she drank like crazy. Then went back to nest. Yesterday, she was outside free ranging with everyone else, then back to nest. I'm just going to leave her be for a couple days.

my silkies egg hatched a week ago i took them to the brooder and she is still sitting. they do like to sit. come to think of it , i must be half silkie

Like I said, one of these and a Wal*Mart waterproof heating pad, one that doesn't turn itself off after 2 hours.
Here is the link for the waterer (5 gallons).

Here is the link for their heating pads.

HOW SIMPLE CAN IT BE? And don't say you don't have electric, because the heating pad will run on a 100' extension cord.

i dont have electric , im amish
