winter conditions

I live in the north east of England and it gets cold in the winter. My quails live outside with a house full of straw but choose to stay outside. Will they be ok when it freezes?

I have been putting a snugglesafe out with them in the nest box under some hay they may not use it but it makes me feel better that there is extra heat outside with them I put their food in the house to encourage them inside aswell! X

Hey yes I live in the U.K. A snugglesafe is a microwaveable heat pad used for animals once heated stay hot for 10hr you can get them on amazon or at pets at home but amazon is cheaper I also put one under their water as it froze the other day ! X
