I have a question for everyone, do you mind embroidery in the center of the block, I am on a kick right now since I finally learned how to use my machine. Please let me know if anyone is against it. My classes end on the 14th and I have a month long break so I was going to start on them after exams.

I don't mind, honey, I like your work. I can't see why anyone would mind but guess it's up to the sponsor. What say you, Marty?

I have four more blocks to go. I finally sat down today and did two more blocks. Since the math on the blocks I'm doing was wrong on the measurements and I'd already cut a good number of them, two or three of my last blocks will have a variation in them but that won't matter since we each will only get one block.

I think embroidery would be lovely. I welcome other art forms incorporated into our rather casual quilt block exchange.(but I do appreciate a check in - I don't think beading would be OK, or painted blocks) It was allowed in the fall swap too.

As long as I have the count correct I have finished 15 blocks. I still need to make "square" them up to be a perfect 12 1/2 x 12 1/2. I swear my memory is not so good but it was 15 each right? The next swap I get to join with you all I will right the number down with my fabric and pattern.
