I am still here! I have been working on my blocks and have all my stars pieced and am now apliqueing them to the background- have ten done then they have to have middles sewn on so nearly there!

I'm almost there too, slowed down a bit but now back up to speed. I have 5 more to do. Then on to the next swap and I have another block in mind.

I'm still here but haven't done any more blocks. I helped my daughter and family pack up what they'd accumulated here after staying with me 4 months and helped her at the new house and now I'm trying to get my house back in order. The first room I did was the guest room since it's my sewing room also. Now I have my machine set up I can get back to my blocks. I think I have 7 to go.

I have two quilts I need to layer and quilt for Christmas presents and hope I can get them done in time. My plans for making things for Christmas fell by the wayside but that's all right too. My daughter getting into her new home is more important and it's a nice older home in the foothills. While I was there I could see quail walking in the road and in her front yard. The view at night is spectacular with all the lights below them.

I have a question, if everyone finishes before Jan. will we swap early and start a new swap? I have 5 more blocks and I'm done. Course I have the big 25 block swap that I am working on too.

I'm far away from finish mine...........need to wash the new blueish fabric and hopefully my red will be enough *sigh* Can I extend my days before Christmas to 48h?
