Hi!
I have 2 Geese and 7 Ducks. I've been reading on here about people having their ducks feet freezing off from getting wet. So! We have a big creek and pond that they have access to when they are let out of their pen. Should I pen them up at night without water in their pen and only give them water when I let them out of their pen? Cause won't they get wet from being in the snow anyways? It is 25x25 outdoor pen with a shelter and 3 small houses (like dog boxes). We are also moving over a 6 by 6 coop over to their pen too. How long can they go w/o water? Like if I let them out from noon - 5 to drink water and eat, should they be provided with more time to eat and drink?
I just don't know what to do!
