So my duck has an igloo dog house (large) that he sleeps in. I have lined it and packed it full with hay...should I clip a towel to it so he has kind of a door-ish? Also....I feed him chicken scratch and protein crumbles (grower) do I need to feed him more or something extra for the winter months? He has a tarp over his 10 x 10 cage he’s in with a pool. Am I doing everything right? This is his first winter outside

Biggest thing to remember is ventilation, 1 sqft per duck. You could put a towel over the door and then open up vents by the top. Ducks no problem to 0F with no heat as long as you have dry bedding and good vents.
