Dornes, you may have to rent a jackhammer for that slab. Or if you have a biiiiiig maul and a biiiiiig man to swing it, that might work too. How thick is the concrete?

I second Bigz on the Araucana. They look very 'different' without that tail.

Got a brilliant idea and shuffled all my newly hatched babies to one momma hen, and gave the chicks from Goth to the other. So far so good. Now I can save the big brooder for the eggs I set today.

Sticky evening all! Hoping it cools off tonight after the storms roll through. I really want to open up my windows again and turn off the ac! My meat birds finally got the hang of going to the coop tonight! So glad to not be grabbing those black buggers in the dark and counting them as I put them in the coop to make sure they all got in okay.

We have a holstein bull calf born today, hubby wants 100.00 for him. If anyone is interested in raising a feeder steer, he would be great for that! He's a big guy!

Anyone on here use MWT? mwt.net is the website. It is so much like CL but it is geared more towards farmers and such!

Oh - don't know who mentioned care credit.. was it celtic? Anywho, we have that also, for our oldest dd's orthodontic procedures. Insurance does not cover it and it has been a lifesaver! I think our payments are like 25.00 a month for a 16 month no interest plan! We can use it on our pets too if we needed. But I am pretty sure after she has her braces and head gear and such done, there will be no money left!

The slab is maybe 8-10" thick and not any bigger than 4ftx5ft. It was poured from leftover concrete when we re-did the manger in the barn a couple years ago. Jackhammer would probably work best, but I was hoping it would just "pop" right up and be able to be pulled off... sigh.

I used to be on MWT all the time. Found two of my horses on there !!! Another kind of dangereous place for me to be lurking !! Although CL is worse for me since it is closer. I swear you can find any kind of dog you want on MWT. I think lot of Puppy mills though.

Could you cut the concrete with a concrete saw and then use the skidster in it? I had a patio removed last year and I can't remember how the guy did it.
