I'm in love again! Man that was fun! Yup Jim hydraulic bucket. Works slick just keep tilting slowly while backing then pull forward and scrape it back flat. Hope Annie heals fast! Got up at 3:30 for a potty call and laid back down and alll I could think about was that tractor

Got more than a half a days work done in about 1/2 an hour. Hooked the bed spring to the garden tractor and half a dozen passes I was done except for 10 minutes of raking. These new fangled antiques work wonders. B&S= Bigz and Susie, FFF= Fridaynight Fish Fry, FF= Fish Fry. Sorry for the abre! Ya got used to the sitting low pretty quick and only tried to push the floor board once to get the clutch to disingage. Luckly I wasn't close to anything. Whole new set of muscles for the clutch. Can't find anyway to lock both wheel brakes together think the right side brake would be a common replacement. dk glad to hear your getting aclimated! Enjoy the warm days while you can.

Now have to find something else to do with the rest of the day........

DrH wow, that was fast! Them newfangled contraptions do at times free up more time to tackle other jobs or...... go fishing!
Not sure I'm getting acclimated, but the whining isn't helping me any, so.... time to buck up and take it like a big girl! Man, being a grownup sure does bite sometimes!!

Here is a website that I think alot of you will get some use out of for both you and your chickens. It gives you all sorts of nutritional facts. Such as the glycemic load, inflamatory factor of foods (Dr Ha you find that one helpful for arthritis hey?)
It is put out by SELF magazine which is very good.

time for a break.. I got all the corn picked for freezing.. I figured about 220 ears would do it.. I also picked about a 1/2 bushel for the birds.. the geese just love the silk..

DD#1 is coming to help with the freezing.. If I am not finished before she gets here.. she has to go rummaging first..

I think a short nap should not hurt anything....

DH ET went to get hay !! I should have sent a cage along with so he could scout the area for peafowl. I heard that one was on the prowl last night in the vicinity !!!! LOL

Just finished cleaning and rebedding the coop- everyone was happy to roll in fresh shaving

nice out today, might go outside after lunch and start working on staining the playset again- probably half done with it.

Sounds like everyone is keeping busy or atleast trying to

watching my brother's dog for the weekend while they help their oldest move, the dog is about 6 lbs- good thing our dogs are cool with him

Did 2 loads of laundry, then said the heck with it, I won't get many more tolerable days here and I know it. So I grabbed my camera and went to see what I could find. Apparently this girl likes having her picture taken as much as I do!

If I see one more apple Ill scream lol I made some homemade apple sauce (one batch was sugar and cinnamon, the other was just brown sugar), two batches of apple crisps and homemade chicken soup (no apples in that lol) I also frooze 24 cups of apples and 30 cups of zucchini. Son says to me "I can get you some more apples!" Im thinking no thats enough THANKS! lol
