DrH, Cartman is groovy, getting a molar right now, but other than that... The new trick is throwing things down the stairs. Last night he broke a glass pot lid doing that. The glass didn't bust, but the knob snapped to pieces.

Adorable Amy! Nice trick with the stairs too. Hey I had a knob break off on one of my pot lids (not from throwing it

) and I went to St Vinnie's and bought a lid for .30 and used the know and took the rest back and redonated it. Cheap fix!

good morning, well it is morning for me anyway,, Both of my DD's came and got me last night to play cards.. I didn't get home until 2:30AM.. then I got on here and read until my eyes wouldn't ffoccus aanyymmore..

got 2 goose eggs this morning.. one had a hole in it and was frozen.. prolly laid late yesterday and I didn't check the outdoor nest.. #47

as it turned out, I did not have to transfer the eggs back to bator #1. a little tweak and bator #3 is back on track.. first egg due on 12/19/11..

I thought my pannyakes were a flop .. I had sooo much batter left over..

Not much snow here,, must be a southern thing.. Our snow has all turned to rutty treacherous ice..
and good idea TerriO, paint your next sign RED, then the snowplow can' t miss it..

Annie got up early , as usual.. she baked a double batch of my favorite cookies.. I think they are called Pecan Puffs ? crunchy , flakey, finger shaped things with powdered sugar all over them.

My youngest sister always makes a batch for me around Christmas time too.. My MIL used to make a batch of "Watergate salad" for me.. when she could no longer get around in the kitchen she deligated the job to my SIL.. it is a Pistachio pudding thingy..

seeing as how I live exactly in the center of the state, I prolly would have to attend all of the bashes.. I will be at the BigZ bash for sure.. I will come early and stay late..

No mention of your winnings. Hmmm. BFF gets his mailbox creamed an average of twice a year, lives on a straight flat stretch. Told him that either his plowman drinks on the job or gets bored. Every batch of no matter what cookies L makes brings out the words " Those are my favorite!". I cover my enlarging butt/gut. Amy that's the greatest pic! So glad to hear that Eric is groovin! Life is so cool! What, did you wash the oldest ones boots? No chicken poo! Thanks for sharing! Cartman will always have a special place in my mind/heart! Hope his teething goes well! TO I would wear my jammies but if we showed up on your doorstep you'd have L in her jammies and a weirdo standin there in his barn boots and nothin else. Not a pretty sight, trust me. Wrong time of year too. I have been known to wear my boots to the coop with my robe on and just the boots.

Afternoon All.... Just got finished listening to The Old Time radio Hour...Christmas Program that I got at the first Bash from Doc. Thanks again, it was fun hearing it again.

Nice Pic of the kids Amy. If they were holding chickens it would prolly make the cover of Backyard Poultry Magazine!

The panneycake batter that was left over came home with me from the last Bash. We made it all up and froze what wasen't eaten....later they were used by warming in the toaster oven. Nothing was wasted. I still have your kitchen tools here that we didn't get back to you yet too!

Suzie baked a Pumpkin pie and a batch of raisen oatmeal cookies....my favorite. I prefer the dark brown sugar over the light brown. Just seems to have more flavor.

Good thing I fixed the snowblower...the plan seems to working so far.

A few years ago I spent tons, an I mean tons of money and made about 20 different kinds of cookies for that Taste of Home holiday christmas edition. They were a hit. That was alot of work, but yummy !!! To expensive to do again, I have chickens now !!!

just came in from feeding.. we had about 1/32" of snow.. just enough to make that ice out there really slippery. I carry my cell phone with me in case I break a leg or something..

I don't know why all these women make treats for me,, maybe Annie told them something about me ?

Pittsville, eh? I don't even know where that is.. I know where Ponatowski is.. there is a meridian marker there.. Years ago, the queen of England even sent a representative there to sign the book..

DrH,, I made $35.oo at cards.. now about 20 more nights like that and I should make it back to even $$.. I sort of grumped a little about table talk.. doesn't do much good, but it is good for a bluff on the next hand..
