Since I'm a newbie and haven't known Jim as long as many of you, I am however, a good reader of people (came from my former profession) and I am sure Jim will stick me with something in the future so I'm on my guard with him as well...after all, no one is left out when a man like Jimster is around

Well Larry the Girl kicked both of her eggs out of the nest this week... No more Christmas peeps. Now what should I do with her?

The Seramas came back inside the house. My barred rock killed my little rooster, so now they are living upstairs with the new peeps. I am going to have to build something a little more permanent if I keep them inside. We will see what next year brings whether inside or outside.

Just had 2 sweet potato pies come out of the oven and getting ready for Sunday Morning. 1 John 4 sharing how Jesus brings us Love as part of the advent calendar.

I keep trying to catch up with all the stuff going on on the board so I can offer some advice or chime in with something pertinent...

But I don't want to get involved with Nekked People doing farm chores.

Evening All!!
YESSSSSS!!! It snowed!!!

I thought I heard a blade go by our house early this morning and thought it was my imagination....but nope! It was a blade! Because it snowed!!!!

I got another 8 eggs today! The Girls are doing good! They got their coop cleaned and their shavings fluffed up a bit. I had to clean out the rabbit manure so I thought I might as well give them a new bag of shavings and make it smell nice and Christmas like. They enjoyed scratching around and rearranging their bedding.

CC-your reply post about my wrapping paper rant made me laugh! I really enjoyed the part about The Bieber wrap! My dogs like having their gifts opened for them.

If Cooper my Lab Nephew was still alive I would buy some of that paper, encase his toy in it and send you a video! Cooper loved opening his own gifts, so Bieber would not stand a chance!! LOL!
I know it sounds strange to wrap dogs gifts, but I grew up in a house where all the kids- human and other wise all got wrapped gifts on Christmas. Since I was born 3 days before Christmas, I think I was my Mom's way of really trying to give me the feeling of my birthday being "my" day and Christmas being our "family's" day. My mom saw our pets as family-just with fur and strange voices! Mom was cool that way.
Actually though, unless I need coupons I don't get a Sunday paper! I love re purposing wrapping paper. I use it to wrap my candle holders and seasonal dust collectors when I store them from year to year. I get the el cheapo paper so once a season it about all it can do.

Really, he is more fun then my talking parrots !!! To bad they can't talk !!!! Now that would be something. A talking chicken with a diaper, and maybe boots too !!! LOL
