CC Donny didn't have any either and hasn't had any for a week. He thinks their burnt out too. I had to buy store eggs.

You have no idea how much that hurt. Yesterday was one of those days. Had to defrost another package of backs/necks for soup, it just didn't look like enough meat. So that's as far as I got on the soup will take the fat out of it today and finish the job. I did get a double batch of giardiniera soaking for canning today. I was busy all day but it seemed like I didn't get much accomplished.

Today should be better!

I made DD (4 on Thursday) birthday cake (like always). For the 4th year in a row she wanted a tinkerbell cake. see...

Yeah DrH, that OF thread sure has a lot of hits.. If you don't check in two or three times a day, you can get really behind.
It wouldn't hurt if people learned to just post a reply without using the "quote" assist.. some of those posts are way long and then they are repeated over and over and over and over.. you know how I hate repetition..

Sounds like Casey has a sense of humor, that goes a long way in helping the healing process.. It can also be a cover up for some resentment..

cuppa is cold. have to call the feed mill to grind a load of feed for the birds..

I got an order for some peacock eggs .. type doesn't matter..

I also got an order for several dozen dinner rolls for a Christmas party/dinner..

And Tatters my mom refuses to move in with anyone. I give her much attention, but I cannot force her to move in with me if she doesnt want to. This was her decision when she was mentally capable.

Jim I will remember not to quote so much.

I am also going to bloomer to the feed mill to pick up a bag of wheat to mix in for the chickens. I guess they are getting a special Christmas teat too.

Last night a semi truck driver almost hit me. I had to take an exit (blind) at 70mph because there was a semi 2 car lengths in front of me and the semi behind was about 2 car lengths and gaining.


Gotta go to the Post office today ~~~~~wish me luck

Good morning! Took me a bunch of time to read everything...cause I DO NOT SKIM! I love hearing about it all! SO now I have to go to work...on my day off...all week I cook...yeah, guess I dont have to make Christmas cookies after all!

My plan for today was to wrap all the kids Christmas presents.... but of course I have a sick kid at home so I guess I'll be staying up until 3AM wrapping everything after they all go to sleep!

I was also going to get a start on baking my cookies; also not happening. I have to go to the school at 2 to watch the Christmas program, but I also have to run and pick up dinner for tonight before that...... ugh. Maybe I will get the peanut brittle made today instead.
