Angie, I hope Wally is feeling better. It sounds like you're doing everything right. All I can suggest now is just keep an eye on him, or if you can, bring him in the house for a couple of days, keep him warm & pamper him. When he perks up, put him back out in the coop in a pet taxi or cage for a few days so your other roo gets used to seeing him again. Or if you were planning on giving him away anyway, just keep him in until the gal can come & get him.
TO, that is interesting about the solid yolk. I found one of those out in my coop this summer. Freaked me out! And I'm glad noone ate it either.
I'm thinking it came out of one of my PRs, but I don't know for sure. Awwww, cute chick pic. What kind is the hen? She has some pretty coloring.
Yes! Sacked Eli for the 6th time! Man, I dislike the Giants. I can't believe they won.
Good link, Tom. Glad you posted it.
Great post for post #16000, TO!
Yikes! SusieJ, I'm glad you are ok. Scary for sure.

Sounds like he isn't gonna be too thrilled about it either.
Ang, that was too funny about the crack!
Yes, if you get any eggs that have cracked, either toss them or cook them up for your chickens. If you have some that froze but the shell is intact, you can still use them but I'd use them up first. HTH.
So, FT, you gonna take my extra roos from this hatch?
Well, still only 5 fuzz butts as far as I can tell. Dang, they're cute! I went in there a little while ago & started talking to Alice. Suddenly 2 little peepers popped their heads out, one from under each wing. I almost died of laughter. And naturally my camera was out here next to my puter because I was uploading pics.
Oh, and one little story: I woke up this morning to find DH sitting in front of the chickie cage, sipping on his coffee watching the little ones & mamma. Now THAT was a Kodak moment!
Finally! I typed this up last night, but the screen locked up & wouldn't let me post this.
