How in the world does a 12 year old get that messed up? I assume that he was serious? You do good work Ken...
Cind--did you ever have that hand x-rayed or is it still DH's fix that you are living with? When a break heals you will have a lump over the site where the bone is calcified. THe "mending stuff" lumps u a bit. It might go down. If you feel it moving around in there then that isnt good. I would say go and have another xray...you kinda need your hands ya know?

what the heck is that all about any way? my 11 year old knows that I can take him down, heck so does my 14 year old

my 11 year old slacked in school this quarter and was very disappointed cause he's not getting anything special (yes I reward good grades) 1st semester he did so good, guess he figured he didn't have to try as hard this time. now on the other hand, my 14 year old, did poorly 1st semester, and this semester we are looking at A honor roll! YAY! for him lol I'm gonna be poor lol
ok I REALLY need to get out of this BAD mood. I'm gonna go snuggle with the goaties, that ALWAYS helps.

oh and who was it said something about the dogs lovin on DH? My dogs are horrible! they love Daddy so much, they just drive ME crazy with all their whinning, God should have made them able to actually speak WORDS instead of ARF, for I gotta pea you dope, and ARF!, Im hungry! repeat the first ARF 15x a day! lol oh and I gave DH a tshirt for Chirstmas that says "the dog likes ME best!" lol

Raim... I am curious to hear anyones thoughts on this with the babies. I guess I would be hesitant, but am still new to chickens and silkies... although I love them so!! I have 4 now and if I is not a roo, will be acquiring one this spring. Anyway- I guess my question for those that have silkies ( CC?) what does your silkie coop look like or do they climb in with the big birds? We are going to be fashioing something in the run just for the silkies, maybe a rabbit hutch or maybe something more.

Well another busy day at work. Some days I get here and there is nothing and other days it is crazy. Holding out for March when my basement will be chicken free. they are stinky adn keep dumping their water which doesnt help the stink factor. Finally put up deer fencing over the top so little solo ( who may be younger than the silkies but now is bigger) stops jumping out to run around and poop all over hte basement. Silly birds.
Ok now I want an incubator to join all you hatchers. ggrr want some more babies !

Morning All....kristip the peeps shouldn't be able to tip over the water. Simply either pick up the plastic base that screws on the bottom of a quart jar or pick up the gallon waterers for peeps that have a wide base. That's gotta be a be a real pain dealing with the mess.

FT...the folks that keep their camera in the bathroom aren't using it out the window silly....it's for strategic shots in the mirror naked....of all people you should know that!

CC...good to hear the peeps like the scrambled eggs. I need to take a look at my new brinsea one of these days...it's been sitting in the box unopened for months. Didn't take you long, eh!

OMG--I was a nervous wreck on the highway! I kept thinking that the load would tip back and mess up the tailgate of DH's truck! Now that I am home I am keyed up! But I have to go to work! And it did a wonderful job on its maiden voyage. The final egg hatched out sometime last night. Looks like one from a buff. That makes 2 buff babes & 5 aussies.
