Taaa Daahhhh!! It worked!! Meet the newest members of my meat rabbit heard! I know, not the best pics but they don't have their little eyes open quite yet so mom was pretty cautious letting me take photo ops of her kits....These are the results of Maggie (Mom) the Champagne and Kiwi (Dad) the New Zealand/Californian cross.

Good nearly afternoon! I slept in for a while this morning...I have yet to go out and check the trap...keep your fingers crossed for a catch of the RIGHT animal! I bated with grape jelly, marshmallows and apple. It is what the manual suggested for racoons. We will see...after coffee!

So I had weird dreams last night again...DH was having troubles at work in it...dont let that be true! I hate when he gets dissatisfied at work...then he quits! And unemployment is hard to live on! (as I am sure some of you know)

So I guess I should go and feed the horses...stuck here watching "Say yes to the Dress" with DD25. She watches this every Sunday....but doesnt want to get married! In fact she doesnt even have a BF right now! Crazy Girl.

OK--taking a walk out (yes, in my robe DrH) to check the trap...I will let you all know if I caught anything!

good afternoon, first of all, thanks for the tips on gendering the cockatiels.. I will have Annie take a close look when she gets home.. one is a pearl, one is dark gray on his back. and one is whitish and yellow. the talker is the dark gray one..

I am having trouble with my photo file right now.. I have to wait for DD#2 to come take a look at it.

and one of these days I have to charge up my camera before the batteries go dead..

I got a lead on a Maremme in Mosinee. I hope the guy has a male.. Otherwise I will settle for an Anatolian . that is what our Alex was.. except for the size , she was a spittin image of Nora.

Sandi, those piggies look delicious.. I have a charcoal roaster/BBQ that can handle a 100 pound pig.. I never did a whole pig, but I am willing to give it a try..

Afternoon To All.... I think your daughter is smart TO....I have jennie who is gonna be 28 next month and no boyfriend...she couldn't be happier not having to answer to anyone. Comes and goes when she wants...and spends her money the way she wants. She has a brother and sister that are older...she was smart and learned from their mistakes. I think she will be able to retire young at the rate she is going.

Yep, I was thinkin the same thing about the pigs....grow em big and tender...delicious.

I think I should buy the turner for mine. I have a 3 day WI dells trip this month and 8 days in Aruba next month. It would be nice to not have to have anyone else turning my eggs.

BF4U: Im still trying to figure out what direction I want to go with the chickens LOL. If I incubate-thenI have roos that I will have to sell.find homes for-and I'm still not to the point where I could let any go for butchering... SIGH SOOOOO Trying to figure out if I should just stick with a flock for myself or get into breeding (miss that from when I raised exotic birds-but I was a stay at home mom then). So just thinking through my options LOL. And all of you are a bad (good?) influence with the hatchings and chicks
