Carol... when are CC's chicks hatching so I can get some close to the same age?

Cind, I wll be candling tonight probably I think its been 10 days now. I set them Last Sunday a week ago the 8th. SO I can let you know and everyone else too!

(PS) CC I have it in for you! Of course I am kidding! Elaine and her friend will be turned out with the laying flock shortly, I dont think either of them are laying eggs! Maybe I should reconsider and turn them out into the soup pot?

Ooops TO.. I thought the horses were older DD's... not younger...I am going to repeat this... she needs to ride her other 2 horses that just sit there, she doesn't need a gaited horse.. she can borrow yours for that.. HECK.. I would let her borrow my DH's KY Mtn mare.. her mother was a TW.. and her father smelled of elderberries.. (Monty Python joke there)... Anyhoo about the quote of yours... do you still call that south east asian gentleman who wants to buy your excess ducks and roosters??? I have two EL YUCKO silkie roosters.... that need to go, If not I am processing them for the dogs for chicken dinners!! Carol

any body with call ducks PLEASE PLEASE keep me in mind when you have calls for sale. I'll take eggs, duckling - adults! I got the run ALL done AND the cover cloth netting stuff all on it. lol
I'm leaving SOON to go pick up 1 lone call duckling, do you think I should get him/her a buddy IF they have any other breeds of ducks? I think so. otherwise it may be an indoor duck till it can hold it's own. I was hoping that silly 'scovie would sit on her eggs already but alas she has not. IDK if she's even fertile. (no sign of life in the egg I put in the 'bator on.............. the 14th. YET, I'm thinking thats NOT a good sign)

Is it REALLY bad to keep a boy goat with a girl goat? EVEN if you WANT babies? best to keep them apart till you want them? what about the stinkiness of boys? I heard they are REALLY stinky!

Actually I have heard they will get stinky kept away OR with female goats... so its up to you!! I am going on Saturday EARLY to the Monroe small animal swap held outside their equity livestock auction facility, I got a pair of normal colored calls for TO there late last year for cheap. And then the 28th there is one in Freeport so I plan on going to that too.

Carol is getting ready to be an enabler with that swap... I am sure I will get a call that she found a perfect bird for us... lol.. we love ya Carol. Hope you are feeling better. Oh you guys...Jim is prolly busy birthin' puppies!

I just had a lesson in frustration! I called my vet and was directed to call another then they said call the vet diag. lab, they said call your vet...(she was very nice though).found out what I needed to do to get my parrot examined, filled out the form, tried to print...nope...tried to instal the printer, then tried to troubleshoot, twice. Nothing is working here.........*sigh*
I did eat eggs and cheese and green onions and now I have onion breath! Yeah...I think I want to take a nap!

So I guess I will call my vet again and have them do the form there, then pick it up and take her to Madison on Thursday morning for the necropsy.

I need a DRINK! I am going outside to talk to the chickens and take the edge off! Terri O

Well my little polish chicks are doing well and happy getting bigger every day! Then I have my bigger girls outside in there run and they are happy looking for there bugs and eating grass! Will put them back in at night time. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

well, I came down here to report that it is 3 boys and 2 girls.. by the time I turned on the puter, it is 3 girls and 3 boys.. we thought she was done.. No runt yet..

Annie moved the pups to the dog bed and Nora followed immediately. the couch is all wiped down, and safe enough for Dan to sit on.. That Nora is sooo laid back.. she let us take the pups as they were cleaned off by her.. no problem,, not even with Prince hanging around..

I will take pictures , for sure,, but I still can't send them.. I will have to take a photo sending class..

the cockatiels have 2 eggs in their nest box.. tomorrow she should lay the 3rd one..

there are 12 goose eggs in the 3rd goose nest.. It is a community nest.. the seb goose sits on them all night and the gray goose takes over during the daytime.. the angel winged goose has her own nest behind the garage.. only her own eggs,, IDK how many.. 4 I think..

have 5 quails in the natcher.. have to set up a TV for them..


I got all the drawers glued and screwed.. I need a nap..
