gotta tell ya this funny, I made 10 servings of malt o meal this a.m. while DH went outside to take care of critters and when he came in the malt o meal was gone. lol he's the one that wanted it. stinking kids had 2 bowls each lol he ended up making more for himself lol
DrH you better save a hug for me! OH oh I forgot to tell you, Dh and I picked up hay last weekend from some guy that could have been your twin! lol I got out and seen him and looked at DH with an eyebrow raised and Dh just lol'd at me. I asked him if he thought this guy looked like you, and he agreed. lol possibly a LITTLE younger lol
gotta run!
ps I think the yoda talk is funny too, I through it my once in awhile too. lol

ETA - the 1 that didn't look good died. hopefully the other one lives. it atleast drinks/eats when I offer.
I"ll be happy with 7 outta 9, even 6 outta 9.

Sold 6 birdies today and got $35 for them. One of the guys I sold to turned around and sold them again... Maybe I should have held out for better prices... $10 each for the hens and $15 for the 4 peeps.

Oh well, live and learn.

Have to go to a wedding in an hour or so.

Blessings,
KEN

*gasp!* Did I just read that DrH may not make the Bash? *Gasp!* In the immortal words of Vizzini : Inconceivable!

Well, just stopping in to check up on what is going on here or lack thereof! Went to the dump then, went to Maynards for paver base and some veggie plants. When to Home Depot to see what they had veggie wiseand got some tomatoes, and then went back to Maynards because I forgot to get a fan for the living room and to look at the prices on their industrial fans. I want to put one in the coop. Anyway, Then I went to K&W Greenery to scout out their apple trees, but I'm not spending $120 for one tree. But I did get some more veggies. Then on the way home I hit a garage sale and found nothing I wanted or needed, then hit the FFA plant sale and got some marigolds to plant with my container tomatoes and some more veggie plants. Then I went to the local nursery to see what they had and found some more veggie plants and I got a bag of bird seed for the worthless house sparrows.

I came home and tossed the paver base down on my little pathway that I worn down from the house to the coop.
Now I'm munching on some cheese and strawberries.
So far that is about it....I'm sure I'll find more to do. I have to clean off the three season porch....that might be fun....

are you saying that he resold them for $10 each? and $15 for the chicks? what a snot!

I bought the horse today. I knew pretty much nothing about him when I agreed to take him. Turns out he's registered. I think my son is going to really enjoy him. I am not a horse person and have never had an interest in them, so I have a lot to learn.

You're funny! The goats would be much easier to take care of! ;)

How are the chicks? Anymore die?

HnR... Sorry about the chicks and cocci! Although it is a little bit comforting to hear it happens to experienced chicken keepers too! I hope you got it under control.
