Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Good Morning everyone. Well not much has been going on here. I've been doing laundry like crazy, fixed the truck, trying to clean the house, all the while the kid's friends think our house is hang out central. My mom is coming in tonight to pick up my oldest DD. She won't be back until August. Sheesh the kid isnt even gone yet and I miss her lol. This will be the longest she's ever been away from me.
The chicks are a little over a week old now. My Silver Lakenvelder chick died Sunday but my 2 Goldens and 1 Cochin are alive and well. I need to pick up some meal worms next time I'm near a store. I've been having issues with a couple Production Red roos we have, the stupid things keep attacking my feet or hands when I go to feed the chickens. I told DH I'm picking up some corn this week and pening up those roos to make them fat so we can butcher them! Shifu ( my baby duck) hasnt been picked on the last few days and has been slowly hanging out with the rest of the ducks, well until she sees or hears one of us then she runs for the door to see us lol. I'm crossing my fingers she will eventually stay with the other ducks.
Well I nguess I should go water my garden since I forgot to last night. Plus I have my kitchen floor and bathroom yet to do before my mom gets here.
I hope everyone has a good day.

Hey Wisconsinites!
Just thought I would share with you guys my 3 phoenix roos which I need NEED NEED NEED not want... NEED to get rid of
I have too many right now and my parents are not too happy with me. Too many roosters is too much drama.
If you are interested please contact me by PMing me. I am asking for at least $30 for each bird. I am located near Wisconsin Rapids.
They are phoenix chickens. The top one is a "Dirty Silver" (Golden Duckwing), then the middle one is a Pyle Red Splash (Very unique rare color) and the bottom one is a Blue Golden Duckwing. They have a lot of potential to have long tails. The older generation of these birds tails are reaching nearly 4 ft long. These guys are only a year or a year and half. I bought them from somebody who did not take good care of them. They had mite issues and a lot of plucked feathers. I bathed them and smothered them with diatomaceous earth, which fixed the mite issue. So please help me and give the birds a good home!

You guys wouldn't be able to live with yourselves knowing that these guys got butchered when you could have stopped it... now would you ? LOL :D

They are very pretty dvang! and welcome!!!!

Phoenix can be a bit high strung but worth it. They are so beutiful. I would take the top one in a minute but am now in a circumsyance where I am looking for homes for some of my birds. I am going to be posting a picture of a GDWPhoenix X Blue Wheaton Ameraucana pair that I was hoping to breed a new color of Ameraucanas. But now I must get rid of them/. Was so hoping to find a decent home for them and BYCcheeseheads is the first place I am looking.

Hey neighbor! Cool roo's! But alas already too many here. Hope you find homes for them! Wish I could take them think their neat birds! Anyway was waiting for the paint to dry on the new run door 2x4 and decided to get some pics. First one is 2 roo's sorting things out. Second is Sparky, third is Blackie, fourth is Babykins, fifth is Blackie again, sixth is Freckles, seventh is Sparky again, eighth is Freckles again, and finally the last shot is of an un-named roo. Decided on the way to the coop that I'm gonna call the DD and see if she wants to come this weekend and butcher. Perfect Dad's day present! If anyone wants any of them let me know free to a good home!
