Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Ghost, does you DH have his HAZ/MAT certification (or whatever it is he would need)? I had no idea he is a OTR driver..... We use a few at our company (of course), and I believe these guys are home almost every night. Longest haul is to Kankakee IL or Manistique MI I believe.....

Running to work now...... very foggy and of course I need to come in earlier now. Ugh....

TTFN!

BBP: If you really wanted them I could probably pick them up at the PO...Would need to find out where exactly they are at. Usually POs are open until 5-could leave work early and get them? Just let me know via text

Good Warm Morning Everyone! 58 and froggy. WELCOME leesbunny! Don't be affeared it's just that so many know each other too well and like to give them a hard time but it's all in fun. Hang in there. CC have already formulated a plan for Donny care. It's not going to be easy to keep him down. Think there's a cattle prod behind his truck seat for back up. I SAID SIT DOWN! ZZZT

GR Adam's a big boy he can handle it. He'll get it figured out despite his lack of leadership. Thinkin Tomski's over due for a check in too. Was laying in bed thinking that a line from "Alaska The last frontier" pretty much applies to here too. Spend all summer getting ready for winter. But think we get more play time than they do. Getting 5 eggs a day despite the moulting hens. Poor Peatwo I feel so sorry for him. Seems like he gets a little crabby when he moults. Was thinkin yesterday that the torque tube on the Case also runs the hyd pump that I don't use anymore. So I drained the gear oil out and discovered that I didn't have enough Hyd fluid so I went to TSC and got oils for both the tube and the tranny. The manual I have lists qty's but not what type of fluids. Found a forum where a guy asked the very same ? Have had the nonworking hyd pump apart and couldn't find anything wrong with it. Everything measured up great, now thinking that it might have quit working because it was running on chocolate milk. Oil/water. Have a pump hooked up to the PTO, might have to take it off and try the original set up. Going to extend the road out back today to get at some nice dead stands. Who knows might even get my loop road accomplished this year. That would give me access to the whole property. Gotta go do chores. Have a great one!

MORNING ALL!
SORRY FOR THE PIC, JUST COULDN'T RESIST !

MAKING A RUN TO TOWN BEFORE THINGS GET REVVED UP. HAPPY CHOOKIES, EVEN POOR LITTLE CROCKPOT IS FINALLY GROWING FEATHERS BACK ON HER BUTT. NOT A LOT YET, BUT PROGRESS, THAT NEW CREAM IS GOOD, JUST LEARNED YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL ABOUT IT CRUSTING IT YOU PUT IT ON TOO THICK. THE STUFF REALLY STINKS THO BECAUSE OF THE PINE TAR. MAYBE THAT'S WHY SOUP ISN'T PICKING AT HER BUTT ANYMORE

HAPPY SAFE DAY TO YOU AND YOUR CHOOKIES!!!!

Good morning all! Welcome LB! I hope you post often so we get to know you too. I feel sorry for Adam...it's hard enough to learn a new job but to have to "learn" from an A$$hole is worse! You are right though...he is a big goy, I hope he stands up for himself if it gets too bad...stay a while and get some experience and then go and work for BL4's place!
Horns beeping woke me up this morning. THis political stuff is getting out of hand! There were a bunch of people parked near the bridge on I94 and they were all out by their sign on the side of the freeway. Talk about an accident waiting to happen! Let's distract already distracted drivers on their way to work....Speaking of crashes...seems that there was another one near here last night. Heard sirens and saw police/ambulance vehicles whipping down our road...one of DD20s classmates was killed last weekend...I hope no one was seriously hurt this time.

Tommy was crowing up a storm this morning. I forgot to cover the window near his cage so he had the morning light to greet! CC I think that is a fabulous idea to attend a block party in Wega! We could all bring a favorite fowl friend and impress the heck out of that town! BL4 I feel sorry for the person that wrote the article you posted...she/he seems like a truly nice person. Well, all folks with/or wanting chickens are.....

NOthing too new here. I have to battle with the insurance co sometime today...trying to get fortified for that. They arent paying on a claim from February. I hate dealing with insurance but I have to get it done before January because I am sure DH's co will change insurance companies again...I am so sick of that! We go back and forth between 2 and I can never remember which one we are currently insured with.

Now If I could only find the EOB and the bill....*sigh*

I guess I better start moving here...I really need to get out a shovel and clean up some of this house...starting to wear on me (not a GOOD thing)
Have a fantastic day everyone...Vicki-I hope the storm bypasses you! TerriOwishingforsomesun

ETA: well that is weird...some blue writing showed up in my post. I didnt put it there and it doesnt show up in the preview...somebody else write that and see if it works for you...

good wet morning,

funny pic of Jim and Ollie

Terri may I suggest a leaf blower instead of the shovel,,,,or a riding vac

still stuck with getting the garlic in, seems like it's taking forever but this constant wet is really messing me up. I'm planting 50 lbs, 3 beds, about 1200 row feet when finished,,,,colder but sunny this weekend it has to get finished

taking the rain day and heading to Antigo FF, butcher shop, hair cut, then to check out the feed store in Bryant, saves 20 miles over the other mill in Aniwa and still gets me to Antigo. I started fermenting my feed last month at this point it appears that has cut the actual feed used by 25%, hard to really say if this will hold true when the free range is done next month
